Description :

Sangge ni pote spray is a product that does not contain chemicals that serve to eradicate insects such as mosquitoes, cockroaches, ants etc. The natural ingredients used in the product are lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) and petai (Parkia speciosa). The name of the product is taken from the language of batak (North Sumatera, Indonesia) In namely sangge sangge which means lemongrass and pote which means petai. This material contains; citronella, geraniol, & metaeugenol and petai containing tannins, terpenoids, thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid, flavonooids, alkaloids and cyclic polysiffides. The content of lemongrass is famous as a mosquito repellant. The method used in the manufacture of this product is the method of maseration which in this method using the solution as a solvent in extracting lemongrass and petai.

The first, lemongrass and petai are washed and then finely ground with a mill. Then, once smooth, the ingredients are mixed with enough water and soaked for 2 days. After that, the material is squeezed and filtered in the filtration to extract the liquid extract. In this product, we do not use solvents from chemicals such as ethanol solutions, since the purpose of this product is to use only natural ingredients in order to have no side effects for its users. So, this product is safer used to be sprayed into the room and skin (because it does not cause irritation).
